First, the numbers. Then, why we believe what you pay should reflect the services you receive—not simply the size of the account you've built.
Part 01 · Our published fees
Know the fee before you decide.
The schedules below summarize Stormathrive Wealth Management's published fees. Every investment-management tier is marginal: its percentage applies only to assets within that band, not to the entire account.

For illustration, a $700,000 allocation to this strategy generates an annualized advisory fee of $3,600 at that balance. SALLO's insurance-related fee treatment is detailed in the ADV.
For illustration, a $700,000 allocation to this strategy generates an annualized advisory fee of $6,000 at that balance.
What “0% marginal” means: The advisory fee does not increase for additional assets within the indicated band; it does not mean the entire portfolio is managed without a fee. If a household uses both strategies, each strategy's fee is calculated separately on the assets allocated to it. Fees are generally billed quarterly in advance and may be negotiable.
Or $250–$500 per hour, depending on the scope and complexity of the work and the professional providing it. You'll receive an estimate and written engagement terms before work begins. No asset or net-worth minimum.
Private Advisory Service
$200/month
Optional additional advisory consultation, including monthly meetings, portfolio discussions, and strategic conversations. $2,400 annually if maintained throughout the year. Separate from the investment-management fee.
2.00% annual asset-based management fee plus a 20% performance-based fee on qualifying net profits after the management fee, subject to a high-water mark. Qualified clients only. Refer to the ADV for calculation details and conflicts.
Who can work with us? Investment management generally begins at $50,000, with smaller accounts considered at our discretion. Some account structures and strategies have separate minimums or qualifications; the current Wrap Fee Brochure lists a typical $250,000 wrap-program minimum that may be waived. Financial planning has no asset or net-worth minimum.
Additional meeting and administrative fees
Additional advisory meetings or work outside a client's agreement may be billed hourly (generally up to the published $500 hourly maximum unless otherwise agreed in writing). Optional client-initiated administrative requests may carry the following disclosed charges:
Optional request
Fee
Account closure
$100/account
Additional one-time withdrawal
$25/request
Set up recurring withdrawals or distributions
$50
Special administrative processing
Up to $100
Expedited processing
Up to $150
Routine portfolio monitoring, rebalancing, investment changes, and normal advisory communication are included in advisory services, not charged as special administrative requests. Any applicable optional fee is disclosed before work is performed.
Wrap and non-wrap accounts; third-party costs
The published percentage-based advisory schedules are the same for wrap and non-wrap accounts. Under the disclosed bundled wrap arrangement, Stormathrive absorbs certain transfer and special administrative costs that may otherwise be charged separately under the non-wrap arrangement.
Stormathrive generally absorbs specified trading-related charges, but ETF/mutual-fund operating expenses and other applicable account or third-party charges can reduce overall returns. See the ADV and Wrap Fee Brochure for the detailed allocation of costs. The specific charges covered by the wrap arrangement are defined in the Wrap Fee Brochure.
Insurance compensation and other conflicts
Kevin Wenke is separately licensed as an insurance agent and may receive commissions through affiliated insurance activities, including Decision Tree Insurance LLC. In the SALLO strategy, whether qualifying cash value is included in advisory-fee calculations can depend on how a policy was purchased. Clients are not required to obtain insurance through an affiliated agent. Details and material conflicts are disclosed in the ADV.

How the illustration works: Both hypothetical accounts start with the same amount and receive the same constant gross return, applied quarterly. Advisory fees are deducted at the start of each quarter. Your current fee is modeled as a constant percentage; Stormathrive's fee is recalculated each quarter from the selected marginal fee schedule as the hypothetical balance changes. Remaining assets, including amounts not deducted in fees, continue to earn the assumed return. Values are rounded for display.
Important limitations: This is a mathematical illustration of advisory-fee effects only, not a forecast or comparison of actual investment strategy performance. The Stormathrive Investment Method and other portfolios may have very different investments, returns, risks, liquidity, and costs. Constant returns over 1–50 years are unrealistic; actual returns fluctuate, and losses can occur. The model assumes no contributions, withdrawals, taxes, trading costs, underlying fund or option costs, or other expenses, and excludes the optional $200/month Private Advisory Service. Actual billing is generally quarterly in advance and may vary by agreement. Results are hypothetical and change with the inputs. A higher projected balance is not guaranteed.
A fee should reflect value—not just a rising market.
We don't believe the lowest fee is always the best fee. Skilled investment management, sound judgment, useful planning, and genuinely strong risk-adjusted results after fees can justify meaningful compensation. If an advisor repeatedly adds exceptional value at a level of risk appropriate for the client, paying more can make sense.
But that's different from assuming that every dollar a portfolio gains was created by its advisor. Broad market conditions often account for substantial changes in diversified portfolio values. Under a constant percentage-of-assets fee, the dollar fee rises when the market lifts the account—even without a change in the work performed.
Our response isn't to stop charging for advice. It's to ask what the advisor is actually responsible for and build a fee schedule we believe is fair for that work: making sound allocations, managing exposures, and helping clients stay disciplined while markets do much of the work of generating long-term returns.
Illustration of how percentage-based and marginal advisory-fee schedules may respond differently to increasing account values. Actual fees depend on account size, strategy, and the advisory agreement.
Designed for more than the largest accounts
You shouldn't need $1.5 million to deserve serious attention.
We believe an important group of investors is often underserved: people who have worked for years, accumulated meaningful assets, and want more than a standard investment allocation—but have not reached the balances favored by some wealth-management firms.
A $250,000, $500,000, or $700,000 portfolio may represent decades of discipline and sacrifice. We believe that work deserves thoughtful investment management, access to sophisticated concepts when suitable, and a clear explanation of both opportunity and risk.
Our pricing intentionally accommodates investors below $1.5 million. The 0% marginal fee bands are one way we seek to avoid automatically increasing compensation as these households build additional wealth.
Sophistication belongs in the thinking and the structure—not in a minimum account balance or confusing language.
The work behind the advisory fee
Paying for a structure—and the discipline to follow it.
The Stormathrive Investment Method and Asset Allocation Strategy are different approaches, with different risks and responsibilities. We designed their fee schedules around the work required to establish, implement, and maintain each strategy.
01 / DESIGN
Make deliberate choices
Develop an appropriate investment approach and determine how market exposure, liquidity, and risk fit into the client's larger financial picture.
02 / IMPLEMENT
Put the structure to work
Establish positions, allocation rules, and monitoring responsibilities. The Investment Method includes specialized options management; Asset Allocation uses diversified investments and rebalancing.
03 / MAINTAIN
Stay disciplined
Oversee the portfolio and make decisions consistent with its strategy, rather than treating every market headline as a reason to overhaul the plan.
The market has a job. Your advisor has a different job.
Markets create opportunity—and risk. We cannot control their direction or promise exceptional returns. We can be responsible for the structure, the decisions, and the ongoing discipline of the advisory work. That is the service our fee is intended to support.
For perspective, S&P Dow Jones Indices reported that 79% of actively managed U.S. large-cap equity funds underperformed the S&P 500 in 2025. This research concerns active funds—not individual financial advisors—and is not a comparison of Stormathrive's investment performance. Read the SPIVA U.S. Year-End 2025 report.
Choice extends to consultation
Monthly meetings should be your choice.
Some investors want regular, in-depth conversations about performance, risk, portfolio positioning, or changes in their lives. Others prefer fewer scheduled meetings once they understand their investment approach.
The Stormathrive Investment Method is designed to manage exposure through its portfolio structure, including substantial reserves and defined-risk options positions. That may reduce the need for repeated conversations driven solely by market fluctuations. It does not eliminate investment risk, guarantee stock-market-equivalent results, or replace our ongoing management responsibilities.
Rather than bundle a monthly meeting subscription into every investment-management fee, we offer the optional Stormathrive Private Advisory Service for clients who value that additional access.
What retained dollars can make possible
More money in your hands. More ways to use it.
When a lower applicable advisory fee leaves more dollars in your account, you can decide what those dollars are for. Keep them invested. Redirect them toward other financial goals. Or use them to enjoy the life you've been working to build.
Conceptual illustration. Fee differences, investment costs, and outcomes vary. Stormathrive is not necessarily the lower-cost option for every account or service arrangement.
Our view: Wealth is not merely an account balance. It is the freedom to decide what to do next. We want the fee arrangement to support that freedom, while compensating the firm fairly for the work it performs.
Frequently asked questions
Questions worth asking about advisory fees.
Clear answers about marginal rates, investment management, additional services, and the way we calculate fees.
Why does Stormathrive have 0% advisory fee tiers?
We believe advisory compensation should reflect the services and responsibilities involved—not automatically increase with every dollar of market-driven portfolio growth. Our marginal fee schedules include ranges in which additional assets do not increase the advisory fee. Other tiers have different rates.
Does a 0% marginal fee mean my investments are managed for free?
No. A 0% marginal rate applies only to additional assets in that tier. Fees on assets in the earlier tiers still apply. For example, under the published Stormathrive Investment Method schedule, a $700,000 account has an annualized advisory fee of $3,600 at that account value, before other applicable costs.
Is Stormathrive always less expensive than other advisors?
No. Total cost depends on your account size, strategy, services, and other investment and account expenses. A higher fee may be worthwhile when the service and net-of-fee, risk-adjusted results justify it. Comparing fees is a starting point, not a complete evaluation of value.
What does Stormathrive do for its investment-management fee?
The investment-management relationship covers the duties specified in your advisory agreement, including appropriate strategy and allocation decisions, implementation, ongoing portfolio monitoring, and investment management. The Stormathrive Investment Method and Asset Allocation Strategy involve different methods and risks. Comprehensive financial planning may be a separate engagement.
Do I need to pay $200 a month to talk with my advisor?
No. The optional Private Advisory Service is for clients who want scheduled monthly meetings and additional consultation within that service. Core portfolio management and necessary client communications continue without this optional subscription. Separate consulting outside the agreed scope may carry additional charges.
Can I work with Stormathrive if I have less than $1.5 million?
Yes. Stormathrive is intended to serve investors who have worked hard to accumulate meaningful assets, including those below $1.5 million. Investment management generally begins at $50,000, although smaller accounts may be considered. Financial planning has no minimum asset or net-worth requirement. Some strategies and account arrangements have separate minimums or eligibility rules.
Are there costs beyond Stormathrive’s advisory fee?
Potentially. Depending on the strategy and account arrangement, additional costs can include fund operating expenses, transaction or account charges, options-related expenses, and certain administrative fees. Wrap and non-wrap arrangements differ in the charges they cover. Review the applicable advisory agreement, Form ADV Part 2A, and Wrap Fee Brochure.
How are investment-management fees calculated and collected?
The published fee schedules are marginal: each percentage applies only to assets within its stated tier. Advisory fees are generally billed quarterly in advance under the applicable agreement, with adjustments as described in the governing documents. The amount charged depends on account value, selected services, and the applicable fee schedule.
Does the fee calculator predict my investment results?
No. The calculator applies a user-selected hypothetical gross return to both illustrated portfolios to isolate the effect of different advisory fees. It does not forecast investment performance, guarantee fee savings, or show that Stormathrive will achieve the same returns or risks as another strategy. Actual results, taxes, trading costs, and other expenses may differ.

Important information. This page is educational and summarizes published fee schedules as of September 30, 2026. Actual fees, covered services, restrictions, account minimums, and third-party charges depend on the investment strategy, custody/account arrangement, and written advisory agreement. Past results and benchmark research do not predict future investment outcomes. An advisor's fees alone do not establish investment value; returns, volatility, downside exposure, liquidity, taxes, and all applicable costs matter.
The Stormathrive Investment Method uses options and maintains substantial reserves; it does not offer the same returns or risks as a fully invested stock portfolio. Defined risk on a particular options position is not a guarantee against every kind of portfolio loss.
